Dr. Anish G. R. Potty, MD
Born are raised in India and trained in London, Dr. Potty is an Orthopedic Surgeon who has completed multiple coveted fellowships under the guidance of world experts in pioneer orthopedic institutes such as Hospital for Special Surgery (Weill Cornell Medical School, NY), Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, (University of Pennsylvania, PA), and Morsani School of Medicine (University of South Florida, FL).
In 2001, Dr. Potty received his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, India. He underwent his orthopedic residency training at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK. He specializes in arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgeries focusing on shoulders, knees, and hips (over 500 cases/year). Dr. Potty is an expert in total joint replacements of knees and hips (over 200 cases/year). He is well-renowned in the orthopedic community for his outstanding research in regenerative orthopedics with over 550 citations of his publications in peer-reviewed journals. He is also a personal injury expert witness with an interest in orthopedic extremity injury surgeries.
Dr. Potty participates in sports such as squash, cricket, and golf. He also enjoys practicing yoga to stay fit and traveling to learn about other cultures and civilizations. He has keen research and treatment interest in Anti-aging and musculoskeletal rejuvenation and an active member of the American Academy of anti-aging medicine. (A4M)
